Holistic care
Holistic Wellness
Natural, time-honored approaches for women's health , to use alongside (not instead of) the care of a trusted provider.
Educational only , not medical advice
The information here is for learning and reflection. It isn't a diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for personalized medical care. Please talk to a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, herb, or practice , especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or managing a health condition.
Uterine Health
Tending to your womb space
Your uterus does quiet, steady work month after month. Supporting it gently , through warmth, nourishing herbs, and loving touch , is an old practice across many cultures. None of this replaces medical care, but it can complement it beautifully.
Natural remedies & approaches
Castor oil packs
Warm flannel soaked in castor oil placed on the lower abdomen , traditionally used to support circulation and ease tension. Avoid during menstruation or pregnancy.
Red raspberry leaf tea
A classic uterine tonic herb. Often sipped daily through the cycle (not in early pregnancy without guidance).
Nettle infusion
Mineral-rich, gently nourishing , many love a strong overnight infusion.
Womb / fertility massage
Self-massage or a trained practitioner (e.g. Maya abdominal therapy) can release tension in the pelvic bowl.
Warming foods
Bone broths, cooked root vegetables, ginger, cinnamon , easier on a tender womb than cold raw foods, especially around your period.
Pelvic rest & rhythm
Rest more in the days before and during your period. Your body is doing real work.
A gentle reminder
Skip castor oil packs and uterine-stimulating herbs (including red raspberry leaf in the first trimester) if you're or might be pregnant, unless your provider has cleared them. Always talk to your doctor about persistent pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or new lumps.
Your personal notes
What you've tried, what's helped, what your body is telling you.
