Holistic care
Holistic Wellness
Natural, time-honored approaches for women's health , to use alongside (not instead of) the care of a trusted provider.
Educational only , not medical advice
The information here is for learning and reflection. It isn't a diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for personalized medical care. Please talk to a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, herb, or practice , especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or managing a health condition.
Fertility Support
Nourishing the soil
Fertility is a whole-body conversation: egg and sperm quality build over about 90 days, so the small daily choices add up. This is supportive , not a substitute for a fertility workup if you've been trying for a while.
Natural remedies & approaches
CoQ10 (ubiquinol)
Studied for egg quality, especially after 35. Typical doses range 200–600 mg daily , your reproductive endocrinologist can advise.
Evening primrose oil
Sometimes used in the follicular phase (days 1 to ovulation) to support cervical mucus. Stop at ovulation.
Prenatal vitamins
Start at least 3 months before trying. Look for methylated folate (not folic acid) if you have MTHFR concerns.
Acupuncture
Well-studied alongside IVF and natural cycles; many clinics partner with acupuncturists.
Reduce toxin exposure
Glass instead of plastic, fragrance-free products, filtered water, less alcohol. Small swaps, real impact over time.
Healthy weight & movement
Gentle, regular movement supports cycle regularity. Both very low and very high body fat can affect ovulation.
Partner's health
Sperm matters just as much. Loose underwear, no overheating, antioxidants, less alcohol , for him too.
A gentle reminder
If you've been trying for 12 months (or 6 months if you're over 35), please see a reproductive specialist. Natural support and medical care are not opposites , they work best together.
Your personal notes
What you've tried, what's helped, what your body is telling you.
